Who We Work & Innovate With

Industry: Carbon Removal
Challenge: Prove the effectiveness of ocean-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR) through measurable data.
Solution: We’re building a first-of-its-kind data platform in partnership with NASA and Oceanx – The CDR Company to quantify how much carbon is being removed from the atmosphere — using both space-based imagery and in-water sensors. Through this collaboration, we’re working with scientists and data vendors to collate:
• NASA satellite data
• Ocean sensor readings
• Data integration and carbon visualization, trends & amounts via a single, intuitive platform
• Automate & generate data suitable for carbon credit verification, ESG reporting, and regulatory compliance
What the data platform shows & why it matters:
• Chlorophyll-a levels – Chlorophyll is the pigment in phytoplankton, tiny ocean plants that absorb CO₂. Higher chlorophyll means more phytoplankton growth — and more CO₂ being captured from the air.
• Fluorescence Line Height (FLH) – A measure of how active phytoplankton are. This helps verify that blooms are healthy and photosynthesizing — key to absorbing carbon.
• Iron release events – In certain parts of the ocean, adding small amounts of iron can trigger large phytoplankton blooms. We track where and when this happens to connect it to changes in chlorophyll and carbon uptake.
• Bloom trends over time – Monitoring how phytoplankton populations grow and decline helps estimate how much CO₂ is being captured — and how long it stays locked away.
• Before/after geospatial heatmaps – Visual comparisons of ocean areas help identify where carbon-removing activity is actually taking place.
Impact: To create full transparency on the carbon removal process — from ocean activity to carbon credit issuance — and make this data actionable for buyers, regulators, and scientists alike.

Industry: Sustainable Transport & Hydrogen Technology
Challenge: Demonstrate the real-world impact of hydrogen-on-demand devices installed on vehicles.
Solution: We built a vehicle-level performance data platform that tracks:
• Real time carbon, fuel, and cost savings (live and historical)
• Real-time comparisons of performance with the cell fitted vs unfitted
What the data platform shows & why it matters:
• Total Fuel, Carbon & Cost Savings → Instantly see litres saved, CO₂ reductions, and fuel cost savings – critical for ROI, reporting, and scaling decisions.
• Working vs Idle Burn Rates → View where hydrogen cells deliver the most impact: during operation or idling.
• Dynamic Date Filtering → Track how performance changes before vs after hydrogen cell installation — perfect for field trials and time-specific analysis of when cell settings have been changed and to see its effect on specific metrics.
• Real-Time Data Feed → No manual updates. Data flows live, so insights are always up to date and ready for action.
• Customisable Fuel Pricing → Test different fuel price scenarios to reflect real-world variability and see how cost savings adjust.
• Visual Trends → Colour-coded bars (🟩 cell on, 🟥 cell off) make it easy to spot patterns and performance shifts across time.
Impact: Fleet operators can now quantify ROI, spot underperforming units, and make confident rollout decisions — based on transparent data & insights.

Industry: Private Equity & Renewables
Challenge: Modernise financial reporting across multiple funds and portfolios.
Solution: Envirometrics developed a tailored Power BI platform that:
- Aggregates real-time financials across investments
- Enables multi-level reporting & deeper insights
- Equips internal teams with self-serve analytics, replacing static reports
- Reveals hidden trends and underperformance risks
- Daily automated reporting
Impact: Accelerated decision-making, reduced manual reporting cycles, and gave Asper’s team complete visibility across their growing portfolio of renewable energy investments.
